Rhinestones
The Zircon stone must be distinguished from a rhinestone. A Rhinestone is strictly speaking a rock crystal from the river Rhine in Germany. Nowadays however most commercial rhinestones are made from acrylic or glass, with a layer of zinc oxide underneath them to create the illusion they are diamonds or zircons. Rhinestones are mass produced with swaroski being the largest mass manufacturer.
Also available is a zircons in glass pendant.
Oval cut zircon.
