We do not supply wedding jewellery due to the practice of returning the items after they have been borrowed for such an event. We recommend that for weddings a suitable jewellery lending service/library is used instead, as this will help reduce the event costs.


The UK post office no longer insists on a signature for recorded delivery items, hence all items will have to be sent by Special Delivery for which the post office charge on average over £5. We will however meet some of this cost, so that you only pay £2.95.


Warning - any copying of the contents or the images of this site will be met by copyright infringement proceedings. We can and we do sue. Plagiarism is theft.

1.Ordering & Payment
We only use Paypal and with some items Google checkout. Under no circumstances can we deliver items to an address that is different to the cardholders address. Both accept most credit and debit cards through their very secure and safe system. Under no circumstances can we accept cheques, including e-cheques with Paypal, as they can be stopped or declined at any time up to six months after the transaction. 2.Ring Sizing (back to top)
If you are unaware of your precise ring size please check our ring sizing chart.
Sizing errors
Unfortunately if you make a mistake with ring sizes, it is difficult for us to replace the wrong size free of delivery charges however the postal fees are generally only £2.95 for UK addresses.


3.Packaging (back to top)
All our Silver jewellery is dispatched in either Silverstall gift boxes or Silverstall velvet pouches except for the Silver Chokers due to their size and shape. All other non silver items such as costume jewellery will be packaged in a self sealed package. We believe the product is more important than the packaging, which not only helps to reduce the price but also reduces the environmental impact associated with excess packaging.

Silver Polish cloths can be purchased from this site for £1.95. The clothes already contain the necessary tarnish removing chemicals and do not require anything further.

5. Hallmarks (back to top)hallmark notice
The silver jewellery is stamped with the convention mark (925) and/or Hallmark which warrants that the metal used contains at least 92.5% silver.

6. Delivery & Returns (back to top)

Our Jewellery will (unless its a UK bank holiday) be posted within three working days of the Silverstall receiving your order. If any article is temporarily unavailable we will contact you by E-mail to either arrange a new delivery time or issue a refund. You will be notified by E-mail when your order has been sent. We only deliver items to the identical address as the Paypal billing address used to process the payment.
Carriage Charge - All jewellery will be sent by Royal Mail. For orders in excess of £12 the items will be sent by special delivery. For orders less than £12 the items will be sent by recorded delivery for which their loss or theft in the post will at all times be the responsibility of the buyer. You are protected For orders above £12 when the loss or theft in the post will be met by us - unless it is proven the loss or theft occurred by virtue of your own action or direction. Any order over £50 will be sent free of delivery charges provided it is to a UK address. Orders with a cumulative total of below £50 will incur a postage charge of £2.95.


Please try and make sure that you are available to sign for the package when it arrives. Normally the post office will leave an abortive delivery card and will hold it in your local sorting centre for 7 working days before returning it to us. If we have to re-send it then we reserve the right to make an additional postal charge to cover the additional postal fees incurred. Please do not sign for the package if it appears to have been opened in any way or if the seal has been broken. In those circumstances the post office will return the package to us. Once it is signed for we cannot accept any responsibility particularly for an empty box which we can prove contained contents at the time it was posted.
For overseas deliveries a postal charge of £4.50 will apply to all orders. Please add the £4.50 to the order on our sending silver jewellery abroad page. Until the issue of post going missing from W12 sorting offices is resolved we cannot under any circumstances post to W12 addresses.

If the items are returned because they were sent to the paypal or google checkout account holders address which was subsequently changed by the account holder or was incorrectly supplied by the account holder, we can only be responsible for refunding the cost of the jewellery - not the postage fees.


7. Trading Policy (back to top)
Exchange
Items can be exchanged up to the purchase price of the original order within 30 days of the order. This is subject to the article being in perfect condition.

8.Refunds(back to top)
If the item is proved to be faulty then we shall of course honour your statutory rights and issue a refund. In respect of Silver Ear-rings and/or body jewellery we cannot accept returns unless they have a manufacturing defect. This is because of the obvious health and hygiene factors. In respect of watches, if the battery has drained, we will replace the battery free of charge within 12 months. In respect of silver bangles if you wish to exchange them please ensure the silver bangle is not bent or pulled out of shape. Any refunds can only be sent to the same address as the billing address used by Paypal in processing order. If we make a refund it will be for the amount of the jewellery items purchased - postage will only be refundable if the items are proved to be faulty. If items are returned as a result either nobody signing for/accepting delivery or because they the items are simply unwanted, then in those circumstances the postage is NOT refundable.
